The chalet is in a quiet location right by the cross-country ski trail and the Hohe Tauern National Park. The centre is within walking distance and you will find several restaurants and shops. Every morning you will get fresh rolls from the local bakery here.
Wald-Königsleiten is located between 3 famous ski areas: the Zillertal Arena, Wildkogel Arena and the Kitzbühel ski area. The Zillertal Arena and Kitzbühel ski areas are ideal for holidaymakers who want to cover many kilometres on the slopes. The Wildkogel Arena ski area, on the other hand, is ideal for families with children. Bramberg is home to Europe's longest winter toboggan run.
There is also plenty to do in the region in summer. Its location right next to the national park makes it ideal for hiking and mountain biking through the typical Austrian nature. If you are a real water rat, take a dip in the public Kristall pool. Just a stone's throw away are the famous Krimmler waterfalls. These are Europe's largest waterfalls with an impressive fall height of 380 metres. Wald is also a great starting point for golf enthusiasts.
