The town Schönberg-Lachtal is located in the heart of Styria, 16 kilometres north-east of Murau. The very family friendly skiing area Lachtal is so popular because of its high altitude and guaranteed to have snow every winter. The ski area Lachtal offers 35 kilometres blue, red and black runs and over 10 kilometres of prepared runs for ski tours. All in all, 8 modern ski lifts make up this wonderful ski resort. The top of the mountain is located at 2200 metres above sea level and offers amazing views in winter and summer. Come stay at "Hirsch" cabin, have a sauna after a long day on the slopes or just relax with friends and family around the fireplace.
