What you should know...
Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis or luggage transport are available for hire upon arrival at Wengen train station if required.

Note that there is access to the higher street level behind the chalet from the same floor the apartment is located on (3rd floor). From there, it is a more level walk into central Wengen. There is also a lift/elevator in the chalet for easy access to all floors.
