Quiet mountain passes, small traditional villages and densely forested mountain slopes characterize the landscape. In the immediate vicinity is the well-known Kreischberg family ski area with a total of 42 kilometers of slopes. Another ski area and hiking paradise in the Nockberge is the Turracher Höhe with 43 kilometers of slopes.
