And those looking for high and snow-sure skiing can head to the famous Obertauern, with 100 kilometers of slopes above 1,750 metres as well as a lively 'Après-Ski-Meile'.
Fans of cross-country skiing will find beautiful trails here, such as the 6-km-long Lignitz Höhenloipe for classic and skating, or the sporty 9-km Preber Höhenloipe. There are also numerous guided ski tours and snowshoe hikes to discover the peaceful beauty of the winter landscape.
