From Büsum harbor you can take a boat to Helgoland. There you can shop duty-free. In the seal station Friedrichskoog, 40 minutes away, you can watch seals. Make trips to e.g. Friedrichstadt, Heide, Tönning or Hamburg. In nearby Wesselburen you can visit the cabbage museum and the Hebbel museum. Or visit the "Holländerstädchen" Friedrichstadt (about 26 km away) with its canals and the buildings of the Dutch.
