The Casa Ghiggi is a typical Ticino style house at a sunny and quiet location, with a view over the lake (Lago Maggiore) and the surrounding mountains. It features a spacious planar garden with seasonal heated swimming pool 4x8m (ca. mid-April to mid-October), jacuzzi and sauna (minimum age for both: 12 years), arbour with granite table and benches, large barbecue grill, deck chairs, parasols, outdoor shower as well as a children's playground. In the basement, our guests can find a broad selection of children toys as well as a workout and playroom (fitness machines/darts/table tennis/games). By foot, you reach the village (shops, post office, banks, bus station) and the lake in less than 10 minutes. Washing machine and dryer can be used for a small fee.
The three-and-a-half-room apartment "Asia" is located on the ground floor of the Casa Ghiggi and has received 4.5 stars from the local tourist office. The apartment with 4 beds measures approx. 90m2, features two balconies and is well-equipped. One covered parking space (2.5m high) is located in front of the house with a charging station for electric cars (for a fee). In the kitchen, our guests will find a big refrigerator, a cooking-range, a baking-oven/steamer, a dish washer and as various coffee-machines (Nespresso & Delicio systems as filter coffee machine). Between the kitchen and the living room, there is a bar. In the dining-living room there is a granite-table with chairs, a sofa and a tile stove, TV (from Sunrise with 7 days replay function) and radio as well as Wi-Fi internet access. In both bedrooms, there are 2 feather-beds each (160 x 210cm). Both bedrooms have direct access to the private garden. In the bathroom, there is a rain shower and a separate bathtub, toilet, 2 wash-basins and hair-dryer. The private garden (besides the shared one) includes a granite-table and benches, a large table with chairs, large electric awning and deck chairs. The non-smoking apartment is suitable for a maximum of 4 guests.
The Casa Ghiggi obtained the label “family friendly” from the local tourist office. On request, we offer a wide range of equipment for infants (cot, high chair, buggy, changing table, playpen, toys). The recreation room with some fitness machines is also equipped with table top football, darts, Nintendo game console with a few computer games as well as a selection of DVDs.
