Summary: It's a nice traditional place, very well located in the old town. Very clean but not very modern, and with a shower-in-tub arrangement that was difficult to deal with and felt quite dangerous. Absolutely lovely breakfast room and excellent breakfast. Very good food and huge portions in the hotel restaurant. No English TV at all, not even CNN or BBC, so that was a disappointment,

Summary: Very nice location right in the old town. Public parking at affordable rates available very close by. On the downside, the room was advertised as having air conditioning. It looks like it had in the past and that the thermostat controls had been removed.

Summary: Stayed just for night on the way to Berlin. The hotel is right in the center of the city- we had issue finding a way to drive close to it, in the end we parked few minutes walk which was okay for us. Room was very nice, spacious and clean. Had everything one needed. We had an issue to get into the hotel as we arrived late- apparently there is no one in the hotel after 18 which is not mentioned anywhere. We did get a call from hotel around that time and they gave instructions on what to do- but the whole situation was strange.
Breakfast was very very very good- all of high quality, good choice. All in all i can recommend it.

Summary: Although hidden at the square the hotel is a gem among hotels. Meissen is a film set for historical movies. If you find it hard to find a proper hotel in Dresden, I recommend Meissen at a half hour by train, especially if you like porcelain

Summary: The hotel is perfectly located, we had lovely afternoon walking in the Old part of Meisses. The bed is comfortable. The only detail that can be easyly improve is to give a complimentary bottle of water in the room. There is nor coffee machine or kettle so at least a bottle of water would be welcome. There is a small city car parking near hotel.

Summary: This is an elegant hotel but we arrived during a heatwave. There was no airconditioning and a woman was complaining about the heat in her room. Our room was a bit warm large and beautiful with a extra room for my grandchild. Breakfast was great and the area around the hotel is gorgeous! I'd stay here again.

Summary: The city has much to offer, the castle, the cafes, the porcelain factory and access to another castle about 25 minutes away plus it is near Dresden as well. The winding streets and green environment is excellent. The hotel was very good but there should not be a brunch service during covid and one person at reception was not very nice.
