Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Amazing location in the mountains. The apartment has all the kitchen amenities, cosy and comfortable beds. The owner was very supportive and helped with any problems we had. You can even eat fruits like apple, pears, blueberry, from the garden during summer season. The views from the balcony are amazing. There are different boards games that we loved and used to play every night, which was fun. Also, they give the city tourist card (online) and with that you can reserve discounted/free tours. Make sure to reserve in advance. The owner left some chocolates and a wine, which was a pleasant surprise. In general, the location is great (literally in the middle of Austria) when you come by car, you can easily access nearby places like zell am see, Kaprun mountains, krimml waterfalls etc. Would love to come back again.

Negative: Need to mention that the apartment is on the second floor and the balcony is on the side. Basically the entire house is split into different apartments and the apartment we rented doesn’t have access to the front balcony that are shown on the photos. The apartment can fit 6 people, it has 2 bedrooms, but you can only access the bedroom 2 through bedroom 1. This might be a small privacy issue, but it was okay for us.
