Positive: We loved staying at the Villa Hartmann B&B. Originally built in the 1890s, it has been beautifully restored and furnished. Max, our main host, was so kind and a treasure to spend a little time with. It honestly broke my heart a little bit to leave. It was a tiny bit tricky to find, there is only a small tag on the gatepost, but perfectly appropriate and I’d hate to see anything larger that would detract from the property’s charming esthetic. Breakfast was incredible, Max even went out of his way to provide gluten free bread for my daughter. Jams were homemade and delicious , meats, cheeses, eggs, cereals, numerous breads, coffee and tea were all on hand. One morning it was only my daughter and I, the second morning we shared it with a lovely couple from Holland. (Who, by the time I write this, should have their first grandchild, Congratulations again if you should see this!)

Negative: There was nothing I did not love about staying at this property.

Summary: Vill Hartmann has a place in my heart now. Truly wonderful place to stay.
