This apartment is located in Castagnola, almost the best and most prestigious Lugano location, bewteen Villa Favorita and Helenium, some 20 meters from the lake shore, surrounded by historic buildings and a beautiful garden of subtropical plants. It has a swimming pool at the lakeshore, a private pier giving you direct access to the lake for swimming and boating, and a private harbour. You can even ask for a taxi boat on your pier. At night you hear the waves and the palms, and the boats passing in front offer you a wonderful light scenery.
The view is dominated by the famous San Salvatore and, to the right, by the scenery of the lido of Lugano including its water jet.
A private covered parking space is available. If you want to leave your car at home : Access is easy by public transportation (bus number 2 from the main train station, stop S Domingo, 300 m walking distance) . By bus, it takes you approximately 10 minutes to the center of Lugano. The hiking trail to Gandria is some steps away.
The apartment is very well-equipped with modern furniture, original paintings and excellent bedware (Swissflex). Fully south exposed, it is extremely bright , and the balcony will virtually plunge you into the lake. Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of May 2023 to the 15th of October 2023
