Chalet des Sources has been rennovated as a Ski and Summer retreat to keep as many of the original features and character as possible and also to bring the comfort of staying in this chalet up to the 21st century to include geothermic heating and our own water sources and wifi. Chalet des Sources, once a goat shed and Chalet, is now a 3 bedroom gem, with underfloor heating and a wood burning stove to keep you warm in winter and a lovely granite terrace to admire the ever changing views whilst listening to the swiss cow bells tinkle in the meadows around you. Walks up to Lac Chavonne along marked goat paths and into the small hamlet of La Forclaz for the weekly morning market a must, where authentic home-made wares and fresh bread & vegetables are sold over a class of local wine.
The mountain train passes by once per hour and can take you to Les Diablerets with connections to Gstaad or to Aigle the other way. Our stop is Sur-le-Buis and a 12-15 min walk.
Diableret Ski Lift and Resort is 10 minute Drive away.
Excursion possibilities: Les Diablerets/Villars/Gryon Ski Region to include Glacier 3000 is only 15 minutes drive and also Leysin, les Mosses and other ski resorts also within easy reach of Chalet Des Sources

Location description: Chalet Des Sources is in the Alpine Meadows of La Forclaz in the summer cow's graze on the swiss alpine grasses and flowers which surround us. The walks around this chalet are beautiful and take you up onto the top of the mountains with lakes and woods to enjoy. The Chalet sits in its own unspoilt land which creates a snow playground in winter and beautiful meadows in summer. we have created a granite patio from which to view the valley opposite from which to do your morning yoga or have your meals watching the mountains.
