The first has 10 steps and the second has 25. The main living area is a kitchen/diner, with a dining table for 4 people. The open-plan kitchenette is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, food warmer and an American coffee machine.

The house is on a quiet side road in the charming village of Frasco, in the Val Verzasca. Frasco is off the beaten track, surrounded by meadows and woodland, overlooking the lovely Verzasca River. There are many hiking trails as well as stunning treks along the Redorta River, up to La Froda waterfall (a 40-minute walk). The woodland trails of Bobosco (www.bobosco.ch) are very popular with children (10 minutes). The idyllic village of Sonogno is just 5 minutes from the house. Here guests can find a small grocery store and various cafés.
The city of Locarno, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, is 50 minutes away. The Thursday market in Piazza Grande combines a farmers market, where you can pick up the best local produce, with stalls selling regional crafts and second-hand clothes, books etc.
