The residential part of the house was 2015/2016 completely renewed. The heating of the building by means of environmentally friendly air - heat pump and underfloor heating. In addition, can be fired for a cozy evening of fireplace. The ground floor has a large living and dining room with fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower / WC and a spacious hall with a fireplace for the stove. On the south side is a large "Schopf" (porch with sliding glass) which is also ideal on cooler days or evenings to linger. From the Schopf you have a clear view of the house belonging to the meadow, to the edge of the forest and the top of the Kanisfluh. Upstairs are 3 double bedrooms and a bathroom (bathtub / toilet).

The house is on the small mountain pass between Bizau and Schnepfau to approximately 900 meters above sea level. Parking directly at the house to shopping Schnepfau 1.5 km or 3.5 km in Bizau. The next ski areas (Mellau or Diedamskopf) are each about 5 km away. Beautiful, signposted hiking and walking paths start 3-minute walk from the house. In about 5 minutes you will reach a highly recommended good civic Gasthaus (Berghaus Kanisfluh).
