Lake Neusiedl is only a few km away. The nature conservation area around the lake is of unique beauty. In December 2001, this cultural landscape was even included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In Fertöd you will find the largest Baroque-Rococo castle, from Hungary (Eszterházy Castle), the "Versailles" of Hungary, with regular tours you can visit the castle and visit concerts in the summer months.
There are several thermal baths nearby: Hegykö (6km), Kapuvar (12km), Balf (19km) and Sarvar
