This holiday accommodation is in the Hochsteiermark holiday region, in the St.Marein municipal area in the Mürztal, in the pilgrimage town of Frauenberg Maria Rehkogel at an altitude of around 900 metres. It enjoys a quiet location by the edge of a forest, near the owner’s farm and a neighbouring site.
The holiday home, bungalow approx. 95 m², is equipped with a kitchen, dining area, bathroom with shower and whirlpool (underfloor heating), toilet, living room with flat screen, pull-out sofa bed, fireplace with cozy corner and two bedrooms. In the first bedroom there is a double bed, a baby bed can be added on request. The second bedroom has a double bed and two single beds. The bed linen and towels are included.
The sun terrace provides seating, loungers and a parasol and affords a wonderful view in to the Mürztal and towards the Hochschwab massif. Two cars can be parked in the carport by the house.
The last section of the access road, about 300 metres, is a gravel track. Winter equipment is recommended here. If there is enough snow, children can play on the surrounding meadows on a sledge or toboggan. They can also visit the owner’s farm and stroke the animals, subject to agreement. Farm products can be purchased, depending on the season and availability.
In Frauenberg there is the pilgrimage church Frauenberg Maria Rehkogel, which is worth seeing, and you can also go on may hikes such as to the Rennfeld, the Jaga Alm or the GH Prieselbauer, directly from the holiday house. You can treat yourself to cuisine at the three restaurants, an inn and a mountain chalet. In the vicinity there are for example the Bründlweg in St. Lorenzen, the sports town Kapfenberg with an indoor and outdoor pool, ice skating, Oberkapfenberg castle, as well as the trade town Bruck an der Mur, with the iron fountain and the Kornmesserhaus. The nearest ski resorts are in Turnau, Veitsch-Brunnalm and Teichalm-Sommeralm.
