Summary: This is a nice hotel in a quiet town outside of Hamburg. The hotel has a nice location overlooking a river and has a great rooftop terrace that is really beautifully decorated. The staff is sweet and polite, nothing to put a finger on. The price the same level as other larger hotels and therefore you should expect similar quality and accommodation. Unfortunately the rooms are small even though they’re nice. The breakfast is really disappointing for a hotel even though it’s in the cheaper end for a breakfast. And bicycles were parked in the foyer. I believe they were still renovating the hotel when we were there but you just would not expect things like this from a hotel in that price range. We payed around EUR 150 for a night plus breakfast. I would stay in the hotel again, it’s not bad at all. But unless the breakfast is improved and the room I get is slightly bigger I would not be willing to pay this price.
