The romantic Castle of Schwertberg is located between Vienna and Salzburg in Upper Austria. From there you can take sightseeing tours to the famous St. Valentin Monastery, Mauthausen, Linz or day trips to Vienna or Salzburg.
The castle is nestled between the forest, a beautiful garden, the river Aist and all necessities in town are within walking distance (supermarket, bakery, drugstore, pharmacy, pizzeria, etc.)
The large swimming pool, bathhouse and tennis court are located in the forest.
There are countless tours for enthusiastic cyclists (e.g. along the Danube) and fishermen can follow their hobby.
Up to 24 people can reside in the castle (up to 33 on request). The rooms are in English country style. On the ground floor there are 3 salons (one of which is a fireplace room and the Chinese salon with a trompe l'oeil painted from 1750), the dining room, a pantry, a kitchen with seating for around 10 people, a table tennis room, a children's salon Guest toilet. The large kitchen is in the basement. The 17 bedrooms are spread over the different levels.
A maid with a limited number of hours is included in the price. A chef and additional housekeeping staff can be requested.
